I would probably kill the guy if it were my kid...that being said, he was definitely a victim of his dad. Or if he wasn't somehow...it was still passed down genetically.
I almost feel sorry for this dude because once something like that happens to you has a child...it messes you up big time.
My wife and I work with...i.e. counsel...people with serious marriage issues...and most of them stem from our childhood... including abuse.
That abuse comes out in different ways...and this is unfortunately one of the ways. Sad deall, but it's generational, like this, a lot of the times.
